Mission

To transform a chaotic manual workflow into a single, intuitive platform for vendor-buyer negotiations.

Team

In MasterBorn

Design focused on efficiency and collaboration.

I spearheaded the design of a new digital platform that streamlined this process into a clear, data-driven experience. This created a single source of truth, fostering trust and collaboration with clients, and ensuring a smooth development process.

Identifying the Key Challenges

This project presented significant challenges. I faced a new domain with many complexities to navigate. There was a lot to learn, including translating hundreds of Excel files, PDFs, and conversations into processes that help vendors and buyers focus on what matters most to them.

Business Challanges

Overwhelming Complexity

The manual process was overly complex, leading to hours of tedious data entry, costly errors, and unclear negotiations for buyers.

Client Hesitation

Given the project's challenges, the client was understandably cautious. My first task was to build trust and outline a clear path forward.

Misaligned Previous Designs

Previous design iterations missed core user needs and business goals, necessitating a fresh, user-centered approach.

Building Trust Through Collaboration

Updates that client love

Each week, I showcased progress, outlined next steps, and linked design choices to user needs and business goals.

A True Partnership

I aimed to transcend a typical client-vendor relationship. By treating them as partners and addressing their challenges, we built the trust to make bold design choices.
